Who is your target audience? Demographics is not a buzzword. It is the most important marketing information you can collect. Demographics encompass a wide berth of data from age to place and all areas in between. Demographic information is what you will use in the marketing of your site and may (or may not) be the same as the demographics of your normal business Do you sell to consumers? Are you business-to-business? Do you want customers in the 18-35 bracket, or the 18-49 bracket, or the 18-21 bracket, or the over 55 bracket? Is your business local, national, or global? Do you sell to certain zip codes or area codes? Certain streets or certain states? Are your prospects business owners, home owners, office managers, teenagers, car owners, homemakers, toy makers?
